Preserving the distinctive identities and cultural heritage of the towns of Duderstadt, Einbeck, Hann. Münden, Northeim, and Osterode am Harz is the goal of the *Fachwerk5Eck* project, a partnership formed by these five towns. Together, they are working to ensure the region—with its outstanding stock of half-timbered buildings—remains an attractive place to live and work in the future.
